The makeshift nursery at the temporary FireClan camp was becoming more and more crowded every day. Two new litters had just been born, and with the other older kits still roaming around, it was astounding how the small den could fit another cat in. Yet more cats fit indeed. Afraid to leave her kits alone for too long, Kindlestar still had a Clan to lead. She knew that if she only told Twopelt to lead the Clan in her stead while she took care of their young he would gladly accept the responsibility, but she was still feeling guilty after having disappeared for so long and leaving them all alone with no warning.
It was this reason that the nursery now lay more packed than ever. Wide eyed kits stared up in awe as the leader became surrounded by her deputy, Twopelt, her senior warriors, Pounceflight, Dawncloud, and Viperfang, and her medicine cat, Emberstripe. They seemed to be especially in awe of Viperfang, the scarred tom who looked like death itself would fear the ground he stepped on. The queens were not pleased at the amount of cats in the nursery, but there was business to be discussed. After all, FireClan could not live at the Gathering Rocks forever...
"I say we go back now. We are FireClan, we belong in the gorge! This forest is doing nothing more than making us soft!" Dawncloud snarled in disapproval, his nose wrinkled as he looked around at the leaves and brambles that made the nursery walls.
"But what of the flood? There could still be water. We cannot mobilize the elders, the queens... and the kits, think of the kits, Dawncloud," Pounceflight stated, his mind obviously on his own newborn kits as he exchanged a look with Twopelt.
"So you would rather have these kits grow up thinking themselves MoonClanners? Or worse, DawnClan!" Viperfang retorted, for once agreeing with Dawncloud in something other than battle.
"Pounceflight is right," Kindlestar mewed as she got up, sighing heavily as she looked up at the toms who towered over her. "But... so are you two. We cannot keep the kits living here forever. They will never learn to tolerate the heat of our land, or learn the feel of rock instead of mud beneath their paws. However... it would be unwise to simply go there. We must send a party back to FireClan, back to the camp. Emberstripe," she continued, turning towards the medicine cat.
"Yes, Kindlestar?" the medicine cat responded, his eyes on the petite leader.
"Have you had any sign from StarClan about this?" she asked.
"No..." Emberstripe finally responded after a moment of silence. "The stars are as quiet as they were before I learned of the Clans."
"Then that means only one thing. This matter is not for StarClan to decide, but for us. Twopelt, assemble a party to go scout FireClan. We need to know if it is safe for us to return... but please, be careful. We don't know what has happened to the gorge since we were last there..."

Warrior Naming Ceremony
"May all cats old enough to catch their own prey join me today below the Gathering Rocks for a clan meeting? Today we welcome among our ranks not one, not two, but three bright, young warriors to our ranks. These three apprentices have been hard at work for moons, and have now earned their warrior names. Breezepaw, you have trained under Amberclaw. You are the oldest and wisest of the apprentices, but remember, there is always more to learn from your seniors when you leave the apprentice's den and move with your fellow warriors. Blizzardpaw and Lightpaw, you two were assessed by the same warrior, and despite being in such a strange environment, you have passed and made both your mentors proud. FireClan is lucky to have you three among us. By the powers of StarClan, I give you three your warrior names. Breezepaw, you will now be known as Breezefur, for your speed and ability to glide as effortlessly as breeze through fur. Blizzardpaw, you will be known as Blizzardstorm, for your cold, savage attacks against all intruders who dare cross FireClan. And finally, Lightpaw... you will be known as Lightwhisper, for your uncanny ability to run as quietly as whispers carried by the wind. We welcome you now as full warriors of our Clans."
For this assignment, you need to draw your characters in the silent vigil that follows the warrior naming ceremony. Remember, it must be silent~

From this day till the day you have earned your warrior name, you will be known as Owlpaw. Remember to heed your mentors words, and strive to become the best warrior you can be. Hazelfire, you have proven yourself as a warrior many times. You will mentor Owlpaw until the time comes for her to earn her warrior name. Teach her all you can, and pass down all your wisdom and strength."
For this assignment, draw the apprentice naming ceremony. Either your character's reaction to being called forth, or the touching of noses that follows the naming ceremony. Remember, this is the ceremony. There will be plenty of time for training later.
