After months of shamefully living in MoonClan territory, Kindlestar had finally been able to lead her clan back to their original territory... but the price to pay was high, and much work needed to be done before their camp was once more the sanctuary in the middle of the gorge that they could call home. Apprentices heading out with their mentors for training and assessments, kits bewildered by the strange, harsh environment they were now living in, and elders once more complaining about the heat... although a hint of a smile could be seen in their eyes... it was obvious that the clan was trying to re-adapt as much as they could. There were some cats, however, that had been unable to do much since they had arrived. The ones who had been left behind, wounded by the snake's poison and at the brink of death. Wanting to see how these cats were fairing, Kindlestar had left Twopelt in charge of the patrols while she headed towards Emberstripe's den.
"How are they doing?" Kindlestar asked as the medicine cat looked up at her arrival.
"Not good..." Emberstripe mewed in response, a hesitant look in his eyes as he struggled with what he was about to say. "The poison is harsh, Kindlestar. Even though I have stabilized them for now, I don't know how much damage was done to their insides. It's up to them now for the most part."
The petite leader sighed, displeased by the news.
"Is there anyone at all who is doing better?"
"Well... there is one cat who is. B-"
"I am," a voice mewed, interrupting the chatter. A large tom got up from among the many sick and injured, a slight limp still in his step from his earlier injury. "Is there anything I can do to help... please? I can be useful!" he added, looking at Kindlestar in the eyes with determination.
"Settle down Bennie... Desertrose may have convinced me to let you heal here, but the concerns of the clan are not yours," Kindlestar mewed, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"Kindlestar..." Emberstripe mewed, a sympathetic tone in his voice.
The medicine cat knew how reluctant their leader was to accept outsiders. He couldn't blame her, it was the way of the clan. But he also knew she had a softer spot than most FireClanners. After all... he was here, talking like her equal now, was he not? Exchanging a glance with her, Kindlestar sighed in defeat.
"Fine... But you can't run around in this territory on that leg. See if you can help with the dens. Most of the reconstruction went straight to the medicine cat den, but the others could use more comfort, especially the nursery and elder's den," she mewed, unable to hide a slight twitch of her whiskers at the sight of Bennie's eager smile.
"Yes Kindlestar! I won't let you down!"

This is an assignment for: 
Hey there guys, time for another assignment. Due to the rather abysmal performance of our last, I realized that time is of no consequence to those who are not going to hand in. As such, we are back to three weeks before the due date. For those who did not hand in last time, it was not just one assignment you failed to hand in, but two. You see, you failed to follow my assignment, which was handed in to your via the regular means, and you failed to follow your patrol leader's assignment as well, which was only really to follow directions. Because of this, your penalties will be severe, and if you do not complete this assignment, your character will be out.
Now, as always, you are free to rp out your assignments [With people in your same patrol.], write them out [Must be two paragraphs or more], or draw them out [With effort. I am tired of half sketched assignments from people whom I know are just doing them to keep their characters alive. If you are uninterested in participating, please let me know. We are looking for active members here.]. Now, for those with penalties, rping is out of the question. You may choose writing or drawing for your penalties, however. Remember that you must hand in the number of assignments shown by the number next to your name. Handing in [2/3] will still have your character die. Remember guys, before you start getting penalties, if you feel you are too swamped that month and you let me know with time, I will give you an exception. Telling me two days before the due date, however, is too late. This only tells me you left it till the last minute, and as cold as it might sound, you simply need to be more responsible.

You guys failed to follow orders, and as such, are in terrible conditions and at the brink of death. Snake poison flowed through your bodies before Emberstripe could help you, and the consequences have been devastating. Will you have the tenacity to survive, or hunt with StarClan once this is over?

Cleaning Dirt
Kittens aren't quite as clean and organize on keeping their dirt to one place as other cats are, and as such, the nursery needs cleaning often. Normally apprentices do this... but you two seem to need reminding of how to be proper warriors.

Assessments
You guys are at that age. You are about to be warriors! But first, we need to make sure you have what it takes. Remember, for this assignment, mentors give out the instructions, and apprentices need to follow their given assignment to pass. Each apprentice is paired up with whichever mentor is above them. Some of you have been paired up differently to avoid members having to do more than one assignment or due to mentors being unable to give assessments at the moment.
As always, please make sure to INCLUDE your new warrior name in your assessment's description. Let me know what you want to be named, otherwise I will be unable to give you a ceremony and your assessment will have failed [Although the assignment will be valid.]

Oh my goodness! I am very sorry I didn't do this. I could give you my reason as to why I didn't, but it doesn't matter now because what's done is done. I realize that this I brought this upon myself, and now I have a question; am I allowed to make another character after Burrowtail is killed off?
