Semi-Hiatus

Hello everyone. As most of you have probably noticed, this month has been met by a lot of inactivity from me, which genuinely blows because I was planning on doing so much art this month which I never got around to. As some of you might know, a fair few months ago I had been busy with helping my mother move and the prospect of buying a new apartment. The reason for these moves were to be closer to my grandmother, whom ever since her brother-in-law's death (They have been as close as siblings ever since they were young, and more so since my grandaunt died.) has had a declining health. Physically she is fine, but mentally... not so much.
I like to think that she is just going senile, but unfortunately that isn't the case, and despite myself I find it hard to actually be able to sit in the computer and art much in any way, shape or form. It's little things such as talking to her every day yet having her tell me "Oh it's been so long since we last spoke, you need to stop by more often", and the like. I understand it probably doesn't sound very imposing or as if it shouldn't affect much, but this woman is my closest family member, and it is breaking my heart enough to see her like this for it to be affecting me in my personal life. It may be premature, but I am dreading having a day when she stares right through me because she can no longer remember who I am, something that seems to be closing in as she keeps referring to me by her sister's name. I know I am at this point rambling and no doubt making it worse than it probably is, but it's just been getting so much worse these past two months that I guess rambling is all I can do at the moment.
To those who do read this, I am very sorry if this semi-hiatus in any way affects you. Especially if you are among those I have ongoing rps with or I am in a group with. To those I have rps with, I am afraid I will have to ask for a little patience, as unfortunately it has been very hard to get into character for responses. Not impossible, but it really depends on my current mood swing. To those in TWG, do not fret, most of the next iteration of FireClan's plot is complete and will hopefully be out this following assignment if all goes well. In other words if my computer doesn't decide that it's too good for my internet connection, in which case it will be out within the first week regardless but you all get extensions because that would be on me.
Once more, I am very sorry for any inconveniences this might cause. I do feel some time away from it all - or rather from most - would be good for me though, and I would like to be able to come back and kick those submissions and art blocks in the behind. I'll let you all know when I am fully back, and thank you very much for your patience in advance.

I am Kindlestar, little one.
2. Okay so we know your name, how about your clan?
I am the leader of FireClan, the fastest cats in all the clans with the best survival instincts.
3. Have you met any cat? Perhaps someone special?
I have met many cats, young one. Both alive and in spirit. However, if you mean someone special, why yes... yes I have. My current mate, Twopelt - I much prefer to call him Fuzzball, but he doesn't like it when other cats find out~ - is definitely as special as they come. And our now grown kits couldn't have made me prouder... although I do worry about them with their stubborn and reckless attitude. And that sass... I can assure you it was inherited entirely from him.
4. Been in a war yet?
Quite a few actually. It's quite the sad thing to admit to, actually.
5. What's your favorite thing to do in your clan?
The cats in the clan, of course. Most other cats know us as slightly savage, hot tempered cats... and truthfully we are like that towards outsiders. Together, however, we are family. I doubt there is a more loyal, trustworthy group of cats anywhere else.

Facts:
1. Kindlestar was never made to be leader. She was actually intended as a comic relief character.
2. Kindlestar has a twin brother named Scorchedpaw. He never lived to receive his warrior name.
3. Desertrose is Kindlestar's younger sister. Because they are not from the same litter, they aren't close or act related at all.
4. Kindlestar lost her first life to her first deputy.
5. Kindlestar never went through the deputy stage. She was prophesied to take over FireClan shortly after she was turned into a warrior at a young age.
6. Twopelt was not Kindlestar's first mate, but she shared her first litter with him.
7. Kindlestar's small size is a mixture of bad nutrition and having received her nine lives at the age of 8 moons. She was already small for her age, but this halted her growth even further.
8. Dawncloud is terrified of Kindlestar due to his having witnessed her attacking a two leg when he was being abducted by it as an apprentice.
9. Kindlestar was the youngest leader FireClan has ever seen and the one who has lived the longest due to their warring ways before she took over.
10. Despite being the leader of FireClan, Kindlestar is relatively cool headed (When compared to her clanmates.) and peaceful. She prefers to avoid war but does not shy away from it if she believes a wrong has been done to her Clan.

Absence

At this point, I really don't think it's so much that I vanished for a while again so much as I managed to connect for a few days in a row before pulling another vanishing act. To those whom I have been in constant communication with this past year have known that I have had a bit of a busy year all around, so to those who my schedule has been affecting, particularly those who are in groups with me, I apologize. This time my absence has no blame but my own, however. As mentioned before, I have had a busy and slightly hectic year. I tend to put a good face and keep going on as much as I can for the most part, but it seems to be that it finally caught up and the depression that had been threatening to take over for a few months now finally snapped.
I hadn't noticed, truth be told, until late last week. I had just been tired a lot. I got home and went straight to bed until I needed to do something... and then I would go back to bed again. I did connect online to sort of do something, but my online activity has been kept to anything that does not require social interactions as for the most part talking to people seemed to make me even more tired lately. My partner, however, finally noticed that this wasn't just regular fatigue and upon mentioning it to me I guess he does have a point.
To be clear, I still feel the tired feeling, the lack of enthusiasm, and I am missing the drive to do anything. Fortunately now that what is wrong seems to have been pinpointed, I am going to try to be less of a useless, worthless lump and try to be around more. Again, my apologies for my most recent vanishing act. There are no real excuses, and the reason is not really one that would valid being as irresponsible as I have been. I know it is a lot to ask for, especially with my unseemly behavior lately, but I hope to ask for a bit more patience and hopefully help while I kick this feeling off.
